'The Linking School’ gave options to the students for their 8 week summer training programme. Mr. Amit Chadha, Mr. Ahsanul Haq and Mr. Sudhir Gera interacted with the students and explained the concept & benefits of training through the ‘The Linking School’.

A faculty training session was held in the campus on March 21, 2015 wherein Mr. Ritesh Kumar from EBSCO conducted the session and trained the faculty for accessing various databases of EBSCO. It is a fee-based online research service with 375 full-text databases, a collection of 600,000-plus ebooks, subject indexes, point-of-care medical references and an array of historical digital archives. AIMETC has access to all the databases in its library.

A practical session on Aptitude and Mathematical Skills was held in the campus on March 31, 2015 for the students of AIMETC. Students learnt the tricks and short-cuts of solving aptitude-related queries.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, held a series of knowledgeable interactions with senior members of the Board of Governors and learned personalities of Apeejay. He also interacted with Mr. Babul Supriyo, famous singer and Minister of State for Urban Development, and for Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

Mr. Nitish and Mr. Farhan, alumnus of IIT, Delhi & IIM, Lucknow interacted with the MBA students of the Institute as they discussed the prospects of their company, Tripda. It was followed by a GD and PI session.

Mr. Sudhir Gera, Mr. Amit Chadha and Mr. Ahsan-ul-Haq from Jalandhar Management Association conducted a guest lecture on ‘Lean Management’ for the students on January 16, 2015.

A three-day ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp’ took place in the Campus in Oct. 2014. It is being organised in association with the Entrepreneur Development Institute, Ahmedabad - Department of Science and Technology & Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar. Mr. Sudhir Gera, Dr. Ashish Arora, Prof. M.J Kalra and Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC initiated the session on the first day of the Camp.

Mr. R. Sreedhar, Professor Emeritus, School of Journalism & Mass Communication, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) held an interactive session with AIMETC faculty on Satyavani, the radio channel of ASU.

The School of Information Technology at AIMETC organised a workshop on ‘Android and PHP’ for the students and faculty of AIMETC on July 16, 2014 at the campus.

AIMETC organised a national conference on ‘Rethink, Redefine, Redesign: A Futuristic Approach to Business’ on April 19, 2014 in the campus. Mr. Kulwant Singh Wilkhu, Director, Global Business and Innovation Solutions, Sutlej Group India; Mr. Sharad Aggarwal, Managing Director, Forging and Chemical Industries Private Limited; Dr. Prem Kumar, Professor and Director-Projects, BML Munjal University, Gurgaon and Dr. Harvinder Singh, Associate Professor, IMT, Ghaziabad were the guests of honor for the occasion.
